Book Lover Shoes #Giveaway

Have I mentioned I’m a DIY junkie? Yes, I’m sure I have. Well, Pinterest feeds the addiction, which is why I should stay off Pinterest.

But, I don’t.

I came home from the AWP conference with the itch to do book crafts. I’m not sure why I had the book crafting bug, but I went to Pinterest for ideas and I found these:

They are made from comic books. Said I, “Why should the comic book peeps have all the fun? I can make those from real books.”

Well, I didn’t want to ruin a pair of my own shoes before I knew the project would work, so I went to Goodwill and found this cheap pair of pumps. They looked brand new.

Cute, right? They aren’t my size. They are a size 8. Anyone wear a size 8 shoe? If so, keep scrolling down!

Ta DA! Book shoes.

Aren’t they so cute? The little red books on the toes actually open.

So, what am I going to do with these bookish shoes? I can’t wear them. I will give them away! Hooray for Rafflecopter! I’ll ship worldwide.

So, what are you waiting for? Enter now. Tell your reading buddies. Tell everyone who wears a US size 8. You could be the coolest reader in town.

  1. Love the shoes – they’re just gorgeous! I saw the comic book shoes idea a while ago and wanted to try it out but promptly forgot, thanks for reminding me about it! 🙂

I just finished Before They Find Us and can’t wait to share the review on the blog tour (don’t worry, I loved it!).

    • Myra, I am so glad you liked the book! Yes, you have to try making these shoes. It was so easy. The little books on the toes, I got from Hobby Lobby in their miniatures section.

  2. With my love of books and my passion for shoes, and considering I wear size 8, these shoes belong to me!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks

  3. Oh my word!! In love! What a super cute idea! Any girl would be so lucky to add these to her shoe collection.
