Yesterday I went to the post office and miraculously fit all of this….
… into a priority flat-rate envelope. It is now on its way to Tejasvini in India!
Now I turn my time and energy to gearing up for the launch party and book signing at the Richland Public Library next Wednesday, June 13th at 7:00 p.m. I have more prizes to give away, so I am hoping for a crowd. Did you see the cute soap and lip balm? It’s the blending of my passions. I couldn’t help it. I was having so much fun putting the cover onto the labels before the last signing. The lip balm was really popular, so this week I will be making more Painted Blind raspberry lip balm and pretty pink Painted Blind soap.
However, my daughter caught this croupy cold, and she has given it to me. All I want to do is lay in bed and write, but I have to make an appearance at the high school today, sign some books then head to a neighboring town to sign my daughters up for swimming lessons. Isn’t that always the way it goes? When you have nothing to do, you feel great, but when there are things to be done, you get sick.
Summer colds are the WORST! I hope it doesn’t last long.
