Author Highlight- Laura Eno

Today I am finishing up my highlights of the authors from A Taste Test. Laura Eno had to drop out of the blog tour at the last minute due to health issues, and I am sorry that we didn’t get to hear from her. However, I am very happy to have gotten to know Laura, and I want to introduce you to her also. Laura Eno is the author of My Enchanted Life.

An American teen finds herself thrust into a world she never knew existed in England’s magical community of Wode Gate. While dealing with gnomes, a cranky dragon, murder and mayhem, Emma tries to cope with her unwanted duties as Sentinel and fights to get back home again.

She finds that things aren’t always what they seem, people aren’t who they pretend to be, and someone wants her dead. The king of the underworld wants her too, but he may be the least of her problems as Emma struggles to control her powers—while losing her heart to a demon.

Laura Eno lives in Florida with a very tolerant husband, three skulking cats and two absurdly happy dogs. After spending years immersed in English literature courses, she now writes novels late at night with the help of muses from the underworld.

You can find out more about Laura on her website:

Follow her on twitter: @lauraeno, or check out her facebook page.

I love having author friends all over the world. It has helped me feel connected to this industry instead of being a writing hermit that sits alone with my laptop in a tiny corner of the world. Thanks to all of the authors in A Taste Test for welcoming me into your literary circle. I wish I had lots of frequent flier miles to burn, so I could hop around the world and visit each of you personally.

  1. This was such a fun read! It’s lighter YA, not the dark stuff that we adults tend to crave more. I’m glad you’re featuring Laura’s book and am sorry to hear she had health issues.

  2. What an unexpected surprise! Thank you so much, Michelle.

  3. This cover is GOR-GEE-OUS!!!!
And the premise sounds cool too. I’ll check it out on amazon.

  4. I really love the blurb. It’s smooth, well-written and very intriguing. I bet the book’s great. Good luck!
